My favorite song of 2010. I’m pretty much incapable of making such decisive claims like that, but there is no question. This song just happened into my life during a really intense period of reverse culture shock about being back here, and those feelings only intensified when I got back to campus. I just have never heard anything that so perfectly describes what it means to grow up as a woman in the suburbs who has non-traditional ambitions.
